Web analytics can tell us much about how our search engine optimisation is working. How many new visitors have come to your website? Did your site visitors do as you expected? Did they buy from your website ?

Why is web analytics important?

Web analytics are an excellent way of determining if your web strategy including seo is working.

If something is working then you can continue down that path with one or two tweaks perhaps, or if it isn't working then you can take steps to correct that and move towards a position that does work.

The undisputed fact is that if you don't check you will continue down the path you are going which may not be doing your business any favours.

Our advice is as a bare minimum get Google Analytics installed on your website - it is free, other than the cost of getting someone to add it if you can't add it yourself.
