What is the DEN?
A digital engagement networking group for housing associations and the housing sector.
Kiswebs bring together like-minded people from within the housing association sector to discuss and share ideas about how we better engage with tenants and other interested people within the community.
On the 19th June 2019, the Digital Engagement Networking (DEN) Group, will hold its next meeting at Saracen House, 139 Saracen St in Glasgow.
The topic of the event will be the extension of Freedom of Information legislation to RSLs, this is a topic that has been raised time and again by DEN members and many others in the sector as one that it is very important, and many concerns have been raised amongst the members.
As a housing association you may be concerned or worried about the upcoming changes in legislation, and what that actually means for you; how your staff can handle the changes, what the potential costs will be, what the law actually says and how it relates to you as a Scottish housing association, and what steps can be taken to mitigate any issues or costs that will arise as a result of this.
As usual, this event will benefit from a presentation from and networking with expert speakers, and we are delighted to announce that TC Young, legal specialists for housing associations, will be our guest for this event. Attendees will have the great opportunity to benefit from their expert guidance on this topic and have a chance to discuss concerns they have with them.
SHARE are true leaders in educating the housing sector and we are very honoured that they have chosen to be a part of our event and have offered to host it in their fantastic learning environment.
More information will be made available here, please register below if you have not already done so.
We hope to see you all at the event!
Regards, The DEN Group
